Habib Debs

Mr. Habib Debs is a successful, serial entrepreneur with over four decades of experience bringing creative solutions with the highest technology components to not only the military but also to the commercial sector.

Debs acquired Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) in 1995, where he serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. ATSC is a United States Government (USG) contractor, whose core competencies lay within logistics, secure communications, security surveillance and systems integration.  

Debs has earned recognition and laurels as a specialist in USG contracts and Foreign Military Funding and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) providing a series of firsts for USG efforts. Starting in 1973 Debs received kudos for supplying and installing the first U.S Communications network from Motorola to Lebanon Ministry of Interior. In 1974, Debs delivered the first US Army Military Radio Systems to the Lebanese Army which included the AN PRC-77 and VRC- 46 radios. In 1975 Debs provided the pioneering effort to deliver the first US defense program with Egypt. After the Camp David accord of 1978, he worked on the first FMS Case program with Egypt by supplying a reconnaissance system for the Egyptian Air Force. In 1989 he built the M-1A1 tank factory in Egypt and worked on multiple large programs in the Middle- East and Africa. .

Debs is renowned for his expertise in having provided a board spectrum of creative approaches to the use of technology and associated related services, in support of USG strategy and policy. Debs led these types of efforts throughout the world.

Savvy in the building of strong alliances that pursue and win multi-billion dollar contracts in the Defense and Security Systems to include Aerospace.

In November of 2016 Debs acquired STARA Technology Corp. located in Arizona that currently has programs with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Stara Technology Corp, an ATSC company becomes the center of excellence for both manufacturing and research and development adding to the existing ATSC family of engineering and integration capabilities.

Debs has provided leadership to several boards of directors to include: The Washington Tennis Education Foundation; The American Foundation for Saint George Hospital; AMIDEAST ALAB, and the American Task Force for Lebanon.   He attended Christian Brothers College and then graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the Centre d’Expert et de Reviseurs.

Debs speaks English, Arabic, French and Spanish.

He is married to the former Hind Achi and has one son Paul.
