Cheyenne Mawad
Cheyenne Mawad is the Director of Strategic Engagement at the American Task Force on Lebanon, where she advises policymakers in Washington, D.C. on U.S. policy towards Lebanon, focusing on political, humanitarian, and economic developments in the region. She produces analyses that lead to policy recommendations on a range of pressing issues facing Lebanon and serves as a technical resource for U.S. foreign assistance activities.
Prior to this role, Cheyenne worked in the humanitarian field, where she was responsible for strategic communication, development, fundraising, and leadership on the implementation of various programs focused on decentralization, women’s empowerment, tourism, agriculture, and education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a master’s degree in Transnational American Studies from the American University of Beirut.
