• Dr. George Bitar
George Bitar, MD, FACS is a Lebanese
American board-certified and internationally
acclaimed plastic surgeon. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the George Washington University School
of Medicine and founder of The Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute, a multi-location cosmetic surgery, skin care and laser institute in the Washington DC
metropolitan area. He was featured in the book “The 100” about 100 influential Lebanese personalities
around the globe and was recently awarded the National Order of Cedars Medal by the Lebanese President for his medical and philanthropic contributions to Lebanon. Dr. Bitar is President-
Elect of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of Lebanese Descent.

• The Honorable Rich Ashooh
Rich Ashooh serves as the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration. In this role, he
is responsible for the U.S. dual-use export control policy, as well as the management of the Department of Commerce’s national security, nonproliferation,
and foreign policy functions within the Bureau of Industry and Security. He also oversees the Bureau’s
programs that ensure industrial resources are available to meet national and economic security requirements, including the Defense Priorities Allocation System (DPAS). He also participates in the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

H.E. Michel Moawad is a Memberof the Lebanese Parliament and son of the late Lebanese President René Moawad. He is the founder and president of the Independence Movement, founding member and executive director of the René Moawad Foundation,
