Idy Marcus

Idora (Idy) J. Marcus is the Founder of Global-Strategix, a company providing solutions through advice, and management consulting to clients seeking help with complex strategic positioning, marketing and access issues on a national and international platform. Ms Marcus has a proven track record of relationship building, branding, corporate/business development, and community outreach as was exhibited during the 1999 NATO Summit. She has assisted numerous clients with their specialized needs. A partial listing: CACI, Iron Mountain, Godiva, SSPI, MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital, Deltek, Ashlar Fdn, Tangible Security, The League of Women Voters, etc.

Formerly, Idy served as the Director of Corporate Development, Special Programs, and Liaison to the Board of Directors for the U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation during its very formation and growth period. She set the stage for it to become a national monument and living Memorial honoring those who have served in the USN. As the VP of Public Affairs, and Executive Director for a trade association and its Foundation, she orchestrated publicity and community outreach for a speaker’s series at The Kennedy Center featuring world leaders and celebrities including Mikhail Gorbachev, President and Mrs George HW Bush, Queen Noor and Oprah Winfrey. While working with Horton Associates representing The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, Idy coordinated numerous government, corporate relations and production projects supporting the TV and Motion Picture industry. She has utilized her strong strategic planning and development expertise to help further each not-for-profits core mission. Idy has been a volunteer with RMF since 2008 and has been honored to be a Director since 2010.
