Miami, FL Benefit Gala (2013)

Location: The Ritz Carlton Hotel, Coconut Grove; Miami, Florida

The Gala this year honored Mr. Emilio Estefan, Lebanese-American prominent Producer, Song Writer and Entrepreneur, who received RMF’s Distinguished Lifetime Achievements Award.

The Benefit Chairs were RMF Board member, Mrs. Rima Mousallem Otrakji, and Mr. Gary Nader. The Masters of Ceremonies were Ms. Belkys Nerey, Anchor of ABC Chanel 7, and Dr. Julio Gallo, famous Miami plastic surgeon.

The gala also featured a fashion show by Lebanese-American Designer Denise Hajjar of Boston, a musical performance by guitarist and singer Michael Elias Purcell (from Dominican Republic of Lebanese origins), and a silent auction including a wide array of art work, home decor items, silver dishes, jewellery, etc.
